Description
Think You Can Stump Grandma? Let’s find out!
You know their birthday. But do you know their favorite food right now? What they’re proud of this year? Or what they think you were like at their age?
The Grandkid Game turns getting to know each other into a friendly competition. Grandma secretly writes her guess, her grandchild reveals the real answer, and the grandchild decides whether she earns a point. Every time Grandma guesses wrong, the grandchild scores for stumping her!
Then the tables turn, and the grandkids find out how much they really know about Grandma.
Expect surprising answers, a little playful judging, and plenty of chances to say, “Wait, I didn’t know that!”
A fun challenge. A closer connection.
For kids, the fun is trying to stump Grandma. For Grandma, it’s discovering the interests, opinions, hopes, and everyday details that don’t always come up when she asks, “How was your day?”
The questions give you somewhere to start. Their answers give you somewhere to go.
Four age editions included
Choose the version that fits each grandchild:
- Ages 0–5: Simple choices, favorite things, drawing, and a hand tracing. A grown-up helps read and write.
- Ages 6–9: This-or-that choices, star ratings, favorites, school-day discoveries, and questions about Grandma.
- Ages 10–13: Rapid-fire choices, rankings, music, proud moments, and a chance to test Grandma on what kids say.
- Ages 14–17: Current interests, goals, family traditions, a no-points “Real Talk” section with answers worth keeping, and a chance to ask Grandma anything.
Easy to play, wherever you are
Print a copy for each player, grab pencils, and set aside about 10 minutes. Play together at the kitchen table or over a video call. Teens can also play by phone or text.
Grandma guesses first. Your grandchild reveals the answer. Right guess, Grandma scores. Wrong guess, your grandchild scores. Switch roles for the last round and see who knows who better!
Each player gets one pass, and you can stop while it’s still fun.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I print copies for all my grandkids?
Yes. Print as many copies as you need for your own family, at any age edition.
My grandkids live far away. Can we still play?
Yes. Email the pages to their parent to print, or mail them ahead. The how-to-play page explains how to play over a video call, and teens can play by phone or text.
I go by Nana, Gigi, or Grandpa. Will it still work?
The pages say “Grandma,” but the game works the same for any grandparent. Kids usually think it’s fun to cross it out and write your name in.
Do I need a color printer?
No. Grandma’s answers use square boxes and the grandchild’s use circles, so it’s easy to tell them apart in black and white.
